This is a picture of a black and white cat playing with a dark turquoise mouse. All we can see of the cat’s surroundings are a wood floor and a white door connected to a white wall. The picture is taken from a flat angle so it is taken from ground level. The picture seems to be focused on the cat’s eye. This is because the mouse is the closest thing to the front of the picture so that is what we focus on firs but that mouse is not in focus so the viewer looks at the next closest thing which are the cat’s paws. These are not in focus either so we keep on going, and we finally see the cat’s eye which is in focus. Another reason why the eye is the focus of the picture is because the darkest part of the middle of the picture. Because the picture is taken at a flat angle we feel that we are a cat and we are getting ready to steel the mouse away from the other cat.

First of all this picture is adorable and I just love your cat!
But for the analysis, I like how you used the flat angle because it gave the viewer a new look at a small animal, since we usually see them from above. With the flat angle, we can see much more of the cat's mood and expression. The focus is really good in your photo because we can see Cosmo clearly in the backgroud and after, we notice the toy mouse that's in rack focus, and is less important. The close up shot you used reveals a lot about how you and your cat get along very well and he must really love you. I like it how the photo engages the viwer and makes them feel as if they are playing with the cat, since he is reaching out his paws to get the toys which is so close to the lense.
